Each
E-mail should be smaller than 5 Mbytes in size. Large
documents should either be sent by mail using CD-ROM,
or be broken down into smaller ones and sent in multiple
E-mails.

By File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
2.1
Account Information
Login
account have been opened for you to upload relevant documents
to the FTP server (ftp.sine.weather.gov.hk). If you prefer
this option, please feel free to let us know at the above
email address or contact numbers. We will be glad to provide
you with your individual login user names and passwords.
2.2
Hardware and software requirement to access the FTP server
A
computer connected to the Internet is required to access
the FTP server. The operating system should support the
use of FTP to upload files to another server over the
Internet.
2.3
Upload of documents
2.3.1
You can upload a file to the FTP server using an ftp software
or plain command-line approach. For file administrative
purpose, a sub-directory has been created for each of
the Members or Organizations for uploading the documents.
Please refer to the sub-directory
list for the sub-directory of your country/organization.
2.3.2
Sample procedures for uploading files using the command-line
method are listed below for your reference.
